Continue Reading…Hope we’re all good this week? The weather has changed dramatically over the last two weeks. (Honestly, weren’t we just sweating our arses off?). So now it’s cold and rainy again. Boo! But I’m in high spirits — I’m welcoming the longer nights, cosy evenings and watching the rain from my sofa more and more as I get older. I certainly do miss the summer clothes I didn’t wear this year due to… well *gestures at the whole world*. However, you can’t beat a cosy outfit, right? And today we’re going for some alternative style to show off a new Vendula London Apothecary bag!
It’s been a few weeks since my last post, mostly whilst I got my head around the new way the world works, honestly. Covid-19 is now running rampant across the globe, and we’ve had to change a lot about our lives suddenly. I’ve been self-isolating for just over two weeks now, and was very lucky that my symptoms weren’t Covid. Or maybe they were, who’s to know? But before I get along with some updates, let’s show off some plus size 60s fashion, right?
When I was younger, the word ‘fat’ held a lot of negative feelings to me. The phrase ‘plus size’ hadn’t really been coined, and although I use it so regularly, I’ve never felt a real connection to the phrase. Then Fatshion came along, and I knew it was the right sort of phrase. It didn’t sugar coat anything, it said simply this; I’m fat and I’m fashionable. Simplicity at its greatest, right? I need to use it more in my life, frankly! So today’s outfits of the week is just simply fatshion; a fat woman showing off what she wore.
Guys, I don’t know about you but I straight up Can’t Be Arsed. I mentioned that I’m feeling less than ideal in my last post and it’s not going away anytime soon. So this week’s outfits are a bit short to show you exactly what to wear when you can’t be arsed! Or at least what I wear, haha!
Let’s talk plus size casual wear! Okay — my casual is going to be a bit different to most plus people. Actually, I often get told my idea of casual is really dressed up! But still, for me I’m adopting a slightly less-dressed-up style for everyday, especially since I wear my own clothes to work. Let me know your favourite casual outfits in the comments!
Merry Tuesday! I went to bed too early Sunday night to get this out on Monday — and I’m trying to be okay with that. I get weird when I miss schedules, like I’m constantly failing… That got dark fast, sorry! Let’s look at some work outfit ideas right?
So hey guys! Happy Valentines Day for yesterday! I hope you all had a lovely day regardless of what you were doing or who you spent it with. Personally I went to work and then came home to watch QI before getting an early night. The joys of having a partner that works nights! But it’s not so bad, we celebrated our 2nd anniversary earlier in the week together which is much more important. And we also took some photos of my latest plus size vintage sewing project, too!
Well hi guys! How are we doing this week? It’s Monday and we’re back to schedule with Outfits of the Week. I didn’t post last week’s because I was mainly dealing with being off my medication for a week. Which basically meant I was high as fuck and couldn’t function properly. Hooray! But still, let’s get straight into the pinup casual outfits, right?
