Hey Friends! How we doing?
It’s been a few weeks since my last post, mostly whilst I got my head around the new way the world works, honestly. Covid-19 is now running rampant across the globe, and we’ve had to change a lot about our lives suddenly. I’ve been self-isolating for just over two weeks now, and was very lucky that my symptoms weren’t Covid. Or maybe they were, who’s to know? But before I get along with some updates, let’s show off some plus size 60s fashion, right?

So basically, the UK is on lockdown. There’s no unnecessary trips outside, no socialising, and no non-essential shops are open. Which means we closed our shops on the 20th March and have been out of work since. Furloughed, not unemployed! But it does mean I’m spending a minimum of three months inside, which is slightly concerning for my mental health, honestly. I know I’m lucky, but as a depressed person who hates being inside, it gets difficult!

So I’ve been inside for two weeks now, and I’m itching to keep a little amount of normalcy in my life. The Boyfriend® works in a mental health hospital and will be back to work next week, but I won’t see my happy little shop for quite some time yet! I’ve still got him trapped at home for now, though! And so, we’re going to be using our government-approved one-walk-a-day to take some cute photos in my area still.
It seems silly to get dressed up to just pop out for a walk, but it’s something that is helping me find my new normal for the moment. And if you’ve got concerns — I’m ALL about that social distancing life whilst doing it!

SHEIN Plus Size 60s Fashion
In one of those times-gone-by of weekly outfit posts I do, I showed this SHEIN houndstooth minidress off. I’m really on a plus size 60s fashion binge recently, and SHEIN’s plus section seems to have me covered! Either it’s a trend, or they in particular love a mini dress for the fat girls?
I’m not sure, but I am thankful! This little beaut is a comfortable poly stretch sort of fabric that is both comfortable and cute. And right now all we want is comfort, right? And it has pockets. Pockets? Yes, pockets. Self-isolating or not, pockets are super handy!

I also lopped off most of my hair, if you hadn’t seen my Instagram post about it. I’m not advocating for cutting your own hair whilst in isolation at all (my hairdresser friends would hate me), but I can’t lie and say that I don’t love it. It’s a bit more manageable now without all the dead ends, and I’m really happy with how it went.

So guys, what’s your new normal looking like?
Hope you’re all well whatever that new normal might be, let me know how you’re doing in the comments. Stay safe, stay home and be kind to yourself ♥️
