A Week in Outfits – Casual Pin Up Style

Hello friends! How are you doing?

It’s Monday, and we’re not quite at the end of January yet, which is a bummer, honestly. I’m having a little struggle at the moment, that’s for sure! So for today the weekly outfit roundup is mostly some casual pin up style, with some straight up casual added in!

Soooo. Honestly, most of my days are beginning to look like this. No makeup (aside from eyebrows because the lip tint I use really works on my brows!), hair up and too tired to really be alive.

This outfit came about for one reason and one reason only — I made a Baby Yoda pin from shrink plastic. Have I seen The Mandalorian? No. Am I absolutely obsessed with Baby Yoda and sometimes cry over pictures of him? You betcha. It’s not even the best pin in the world, but his little face makes me happy!

A sure-fire way to make a casual outfit look good? A patterned dress — honestly, people absolutely adore this dress, I get so many compliments on it! Considering I was initially really unsure on it when I first got it back in November 2018, but turns out it’s one of my most worn dresses. Who knew?

This ensemble was a little bit… nippy, let’s say! Lesson learned; in winter, wear more clothing, not exactly the same as you’d wear in early autumn. Goddamnit, self! That’s not the dress’ fault however — which is one of the easiest dresses to wear out there thanks to its stretch — but it does need something a bit more covered up now it’s colder!
