Summer in the UK is hiding again, but we’re still in full summer mode!
Summer. I love the idea of summer in theory. But in actuality it makes me a sweaty mess and burns the hell out of my poor alabaster skin. Any other pale fatties have difficulty in the summer? I was lying on the beach in full sun just under four weeks ago, and I’m only just recovering from the sunburn. Now I’m back to wearing tights, and frankly miss that summer feeling. So this week’s Weekly Wishlist is all about Plus Size Tropical Style to get us back in the sunshine-y mood!

Since deciding to do Weekly Wishlists are more styling posts than just a list of stuff I like, I’ve realised how formulaic my style is. Dress, belt, bangles, necklace and a Vendula London bag. That’s my style distilled into a sentence, haha! Any one else have a bit of a formula to how they dress? Anyway.
Love Ur Look is a brand I really need to champion on this blog more. Other than it being full of incredible vintage-inspired designs and bold fabric patterns, it’s also sustainable, affordable and inclusive! The owner, Ronke, is an amazing woman that really puts her love and values into the brand. You can read more about the brand here, and I really recommend looking into it. This off-the-shoulder dress is a current favourite (it has cacti on it!), but there’s so many dresses I love that I can’t honestly choose.
Paired with some Salties, London Mole sunglasses and — of course — a Vendula London bag (currently in our sale!), And a gorgeous acrylic necklace from Guns ‘n’ Posies that I’m drooling over. It’s the perfect tropical outfit to stare at when it’s raining outside!
