Happy… Whatever Day it is!

Wow, May is really flying by, isn’t it? It’s usually my favourite month since Me Made May happens, my favourite festival is on and of course my birthday on the 31st! But it feels so weird this year, which is expected. But aside from feeling weird about that, time for some Small Business Spotlights. This week we’re looking at businesses that made vintage style jewellery, my favourite!

Luxulite

Any list of vintage style jewellery simply cannot miss off the great Luxulite! The ultimate in vintage novelty reproductions and owned by an all-round babe. I’ve been wearing Luxulite since 2015 and the quality is so wonderful and always improving. I even still have my first brooch from her, which is a testament to the quality, I promise you — I have worn that thing to death.

Dolly Cool

Dolly Cool is a brand from Manchester that I don’t think I’ve featured before, but I really love their tattoo-inspired rockabilly style. They also do the most incredible things around Halloween and Christmas, with super cute hairbands to match!

Bow and Crossbones

Bow and Crossbones is the brand I easily own the most jewellery from. Most of my earrings are from them, at least! I love their new styles — especially those reproduction telephones. I really need to get my arse in gear and order a red one to replace my long-lost vintage one! Birthday present, anyone?

Glitz-O-Matic

Although I have yet to experience their products, you can’t NOT swoon at all the earrings Glitz-o-Matic has to offer! From classic teardrop lucite to bad girl hoops, they literally have something for everyone.

Splendette

Lastly, but never least — is of course Splendette! The no1 spot for vintage-style bangles you will ever find. The range of colours and sizes that Splendette do is just madness, and the quality is stellar. I still have my bangles from 2015 and they’re holding up well.
