It’s been a whole damn year and people still aren’t wearing masks correctly somehow.
Hello! It’s your friendly neighbourhood fatty gracing your screens once again to show off an outfit no one asked to see! Oh, and talking about a year of lockdown, since the UK reached it’s lockdown-iversary. We even had a moment of silence to mourn those that have left us, and to a much lesser extent the end of our social lives. Because us British folk basically ignore things other than for a minute’s silence once a year. Feels weird posting up windswept photos of myself whilst talking about something that has impacted the world horrifically. But also I need that #content — so plus size style you shall get, friends! We’re dressing up for no reason today!

Not sure about you guys, but after a year of spending a LOT of time inside, I genuinely feel like I don’t know how to dress any more. I mean, you’ve seen my weekly outfit posts recently. I’m a big advocate of dressing up for no reason for mental health, as you know. But finding the actual effort within myself is harder and harder as the months go by. Every now and then I push myself to dress up, which is great. And yet when I sit down to write a post on it, my brain implodes on itself and I stare at the screen for hours. Probably the joys of working from home, I guess. Sitting at a laptop for 8 hours a day five days a week? Not the one.

Dressing Up For No Reason
But hey, I’m wearing actual clothes for once! And it’s kinda fitting that this skirt was actually the first thing I made in lockdown last year. Certainly fits a lot tighter than it did last year, though. Thanks lockdown weight gain, now all my cute clothes don’t fit! There’s nothing I can really say for the outfit itself, it’s just kinda cute and a little bit beatnik-inspired. It also gave me a good reason to wear my GoryDorky Tanuki brooch — you guys know I love a tanuki, right? It’s a little sad that I got this for my birthday last year, and this is the first time I’ve worn it outside of my house!

I don’t know, guys. I’m a little flat on the whole blogging thing at the moment. Hopefully I’ll have something more exciting to say soon.
