Hey friends! Hope we’re all doing well? I’ve managed to wind myself up these last few days and have developed the most almighty eye twitch. The joys of a stress person who accidentally is off their meds, right? But luckily I managed to drag The Boyfriend® out into town one day this week to have a bit of a date! And this Day Date Style is brought to you by Lindy Bop!
This item was gifted in return for a review and images. Opinions are my own, I’m not paid to say anything in particular. Some links may be affiliate links, it just means I might get a few quid if you buy through my links. You can read more in my disclaimer.

Firstly, I need to tell you something. Lindy Bop have really been stepping up their game recently. No seriously, peep that New In page — it’s incredible! I’ve always got my eye on Lindy Bop, because they get stronger and stronger each season, and I’m so happy with how they’re going at the moment!

Onto the dress itself though, right? I chose the Shannon shirt dress in this window-pane-and-rose print to talk about, because there was two things that really stood out to me. First, the print — how gorgeous is it? It has such a true vintage feel to it, but not too outdated-looking. The second was the shape! I love shirt dresses to the moon and back, and the bishop sleeves on this dress really pulls the whole look together in a beautiful way.
Day Date Style with Lindy Bop’s Shannon

In the Lindy Bop Shannon, I took my usual 22 size, and it fits like a glove! If you’ve got a larger bust you should size up, since my tits are just about contained in this, however. But I didn’t get to photograph my actual favourite thing about this dress, though. It has gape-preventing buttons on the inside of the button band which actually works — how awesome is that?!

The dress has a gorgeous textured fabric, too. I was initially unsure of the burgundy with my hair colour, but I think it looks great, don’t you? The slight blouseyness to the bodice makes it perfect for day date style to wear something pretty but not too overstated. Perfect for those Valentines Day outings, gals!

Of course, with every outfit, there’s a matching Vendula London bag to complete! I think this George Mini Tote is the perfect accompanying accessory for this dress — and just big enough for anything you need on a day date, too!
