Hey Friends! It’s Saturday!
How are we? I’m super excited to spend the weekend with my family at the moment. In last week’s Wednesday Wishlist, I showed you some of my favourite pins ever. So it’s only fitting that this week I’m showing you exactly how I style some amazing products from Punky Pins!
I’ve mentioned my love for Punky Pins before. But they’re just SO DAMN GOOD. I first came across them years ago when I worked at Collectif and we sold their acrylic jewellery. And that was pretty cute – but enamel pins are so their thing! The patches are pretty great, too, but let’s be honest, it’s allll about that pin game, right?
I’ve been wanting a denim jacket for quite a while now, and I just so happened to claim my boyfriend’s one. Does it technically fit? No. Is it the right shape for me? No. Do I now own it? Oooooof course I do!
I was really excited to meet them at London Edge this year and see what was coming up – and was luckier to be given a Nasty Women Club tote bag and Women Empower Women coaster. Both are used regularly and lovingly.
Working with Punky Pins meant I was able to choose 8 pins and two patches. In this post I’ve also included some pins I already owned of theirs, and I may have just ordered some more in their Warehouse Sale!

The main theme that runs through Punky Pins’ products is feminism. And it’s something I adore about them. My favourite ever pin – Beat It Creep sums it up, really. But aside the cutesy exterior they show female defiance, love and solidarity.
Recently I’m dressing more casual at work, so this is a normal day-to-day outfit for me. I think denim jackets look good in a dressed-down modern pinup sort of look. I feel a bit grungy wearing one if I’m totally honest, but I think the whole style works, don’t you?
The great thing about pins is that you can add your personality to something with little effort. I hadn’t even drank my coffee by the time I stuck these little pieces of flair to my pockets! But it portrays things I care about; feminism, safety among women and women standing together instead of against each other. Oh, and crafty things, because we all know I’m a Crafty Bitch.
Although the pins themselves are sturdy and of the best quality, it’s the designs that really set them apart. Being a female-lead brand probably helps, but their whole positivity towards women and their bodies just makes my heart leap. They serve as daily reminders to myself, or advertisements of my personal beliefs to others. And that’s just amazing that these little pieces of metal can do that, right?
