Hey friends — hope we’re all doing okay and looking after ourselves at the moment? I’m keeping myself as upbeat as possible at the moment (thank you, medication and therapy!) and so I’d like to get back to sharing great small brands. So welcome back to Support Small Businesses — a little feature on small brands I think are awesome. This time around — accessories!

Pearls and Swine
Operating as usual.
I’ve featured the beauty of Bink’s brain before on the blog, and my love won’t stop! With the addition of adorned sunglasses, jewellery and art, this milliner has you covered for bright and beautiful items! Honestly, have you ever seen such stunning items? You really need to check out her other hats and fascinators, too — there’s so many to choose from! Pearls and Swine also offer a layaway system so that you can pay off for your hat or fascinator over time, or you can even commission her to make you something absolutely unique!
Miss L Fire

Operating as usual, seemingly. Offers a 20% NHS discount.
Things have certainly changed for Miss L Fire since I last bought from them! They’re going for more of a luxe vibe with a vintage inspiration instead of the novelty styles and reproduction that I know so well. I certainly prefer their older styles since they suit my style more, but they do have some gorgeous pairs available! And if they’re made as hardy as the pairs I’ve had for 5+ years, then these shoes are perfect investment pieces.
Punky Pins

Re-opened and operating as usual.
At this point do I really need to mention how much I love Punky Pins as a whole? Just everything about them is great, really! My Favourite Murder pins, feminism out the wazoo, what’s not to like? They also have a spring sale going on!
Rubylea

Running as usual.
If there’s any time to invest in a gorgeous dramatic turban, it’s when you’re working from home / furloughed, right? Roll up, roll up friends; time to get a Rubylea turban! I have two of my own and I can tell you that the quality is just wonderful. And as well as turbans, she also does gorgeous headbands like the copper number in the middle. Oh, as well as berets, tilt hats, disc hats and fascinators…
Vendula London

Online orders running as usual.
Last but never least, Vendula! Oh, my darling handbags — I’ve really been missing my little shops this week. And since we had only just launched our new collection before lockdown, it makes me sad I haven’t been able to spend much time playing around with the new stock as I’d like! I hadn’t worked out what Flower Shop bag I wanted — Grab or Grace? Help me decide!
So guys, let’s support small businesses — what’s your favourite accessory brand?
