Hi strangers!
I’ve been missing for a few weeks dealing with life (More of that to come in a later post) but today I’m back with a short little review, which is all to do with plus size tights! And it means I’m in my knickers again!

Tights are one thing that is just incredibly difficult when you’re plus size. They’re also difficult if you’re tall, small, if you have bigger thighs than calves, a bigger belly… Okay, tights are a nightmare for all of us. Personally my issues are that my stomach and thighs are large, yet my calves are thin in comparison. Oh, and at 5’7″ I’m “tall” for a plus woman.
Now, usually plus tights have this problem that they either stretch to height or they stretch to width. They aren’t made to fit both. And if you have a small waist? You’ll be tying them up to keep them up.

However, I was lucky enough to work with Snag Tights, a company that produce tights designed to fit. Knowing that people are all sorts of sizes, shapes and combinations, they had 3D stretch that means that they actually fit. Add to that, a size guide that allows for fuller figures. I love that!

So, do they fit?
Snag gifted me three pairs of their tights to review, two classic pairs of 80 Denier in red and black, and a pair of the Diamond Age patterned tights. I went for the F size, since I’m always considering my hips to be at least two sizes bigger than my dress size.
And I was pleasantly happy to find that in the plain tights, these fit perfectly. The sort of perfectly that makes you forget you’re wearing tights. Honestly, I’ve worn them all week to test them out, and they’re just terrific. No pulling up necessary at all!

They’re super stretchy, but don’t stretch out over the day of wearing them. And that waistband stays strong and stays put! As you can see, I’m pretty impressed!
The tights are decently opaque, fit my tummy well without shifting, and they’re a matte finish. Personally I prefer this to silk-feel tights, and you can bet I’ll be buying more pairs in the future! The most important part is that neither my stiletto nails, nor my corset have caused these babies to ladder.
£6.99 for a pair of tights might feel steep to some, especially those that are accustomed to buying cheap pairs from Primark. But I promise you, Snag Tights are completely worth £7. They are going to last an age, and with a range of colours and sizes to choose from, I’d say you deserve to treat yourself to a pair!
