When I was younger, the word ‘fat’ held a lot of negative feelings to me. The phrase ‘plus size’ hadn’t really been coined, and although I use it so regularly, I’ve never felt a real connection to the phrase. Then Fatshion came along, and I knew it was the right sort of phrase. It didn’t sugar coat anything, it said simply this; I’m fat and I’m fashionable. Simplicity at its greatest, right? I need to use it more in my life, frankly! So today’s outfits of the week is just simply fatshion; a fat woman showing off what she wore.
Yes. You will see this dress every week (I’ve actually banned myself from wearing it next week, honestly) because I just adore it. Nothing will stop me from wearing it until it falls off my body. But also it’s really cute with these Love Ur Look earrings, no?
Ah, the outfit where it looks like I’ve given up already, haha! Work is a little bit slow at the moment, because obviously no one is buying handbags amid a global virus pandemic! So I’m not really dressing up through the week at the moment, since it’s a shame if no one sees it, right?
That doesn’t mean I’m not dressing nicely at the weekends, though! Booze-related outfit (literally booze on the dress, booze on the cardigan, booze on the bag, booze on the necklace…). Because clearly I was waiting for the sweet moment I can drink my worries away. *Cough*. This dress is nearly five years old now, and honestly it’s the best Lindy Bop dress I’ve ever owned, I wish they’d bring this one back, actually!
I’m currently in spring cleaning mode (read; SAD has lifted and I realise my depression mess is unbearable). Which means I’m finding things I haven’t seen since I moved in June. Which includes the removable bib I made for this skirt! Seems like a small addition, but it makes this skirt so much cuter!
